Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Sarah. I’m married to the wonderful Phil, and we have a beautiful beagle called Lottie. We live in a small village on the Northamptonshire/ Oxfordshire border, surrounded by sheep and cows. I’m in my late thirties, and am a retired primary school teacher. 
One morning in 2013, I collapsed whilst getting ready for work, and was rushed to hospital. Life changed overnight. I was eventually diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and Pulmonary Venous Occlusive Disease. I was placed on the active lung transplant list in 2016, but am currently suspended as I’m stable again. This blog tells the story of my journey with two terminal conditions, and how I have learnt to “adjust my sails” so I can continue living life with a smile. Life with PH is still life.
